Visitor statistics: your choice
Pharmshark counts its own visitors so we can see which guides are used and whether people come back. We do this ourselves: nothing is sent to Google or any other company, and nothing is used for advertising.
What we record for each page you view
- the page, the time, and the site or link that brought you here (for example a Google search or one of our social posts);
- the type of device and browser (for example “mobile, Safari”), how long the page was open and how far you scrolled;
- some actions within a page: directory searches, providers and tabs opened, downloads, phone numbers tapped, links followed, printing, and CPD quizzes started or finished;
- a random identifier kept in a cookie called
ps_vidfor up to 13 months, so a return visit can be recognised. It contains nothing about you; - your IP address, kept for 30 days and then deleted;
- if you are signed in, your Pharmshark account, so we can see which tools members use.
Full details are in our privacy policy.
Your visits from this browser are being counted.
The choice is stored in a small cookie (ps_optout) in this
browser only. If you clear your cookies or use another device, you will need to choose again.
